What's included

In the price you are quoted

  • Design laid out on the actual vehicle model, not a generic outline
  • Printed and laminated vinyl produced by Falcon
  • Application by a professional fitter
  • Fleet templates so vehicle two matches vehicle one

Be honest about what the vehicle is for

A vehicle that spends the day parked at customer sites is genuinely useful advertising. A vehicle that lives in a yard is not, and wrapping it is money spent on being seen by your own staff.

That distinction decides whether you want a full wrap or clean door lettering, and the difference in cost is large.

What actually gets read

A moving vehicle is read for about two seconds at a junction. That allows:

  • What you do — three words at most
  • A phone number — large, and the single most important element
  • Your name

Everything else is decoration. Service lists and paragraphs on a van are read by nobody.

Material matters more here than almost anywhere

Cast vinyl with a UV laminate — conforms to curves and recesses, lifts cleanly at end of life. The right answer for wraps and for any leased vehicle.

Calendered vinyl — cheaper, fine on flat panels, does not like curves, and harder to remove after a long baking.

In Dubai the laminate is not optional. Unlaminated print fades visibly within a year, and horizontal panels go first.

How this is delivered

Falcon designs the graphics and prints and laminates the vinyl. Application to the vehicle is carried out by a professional fitter, since a good wrap is a fitting skill rather than a printing one.

Questions

Vehicle graphics: Common questions

Will a wrap damage the paint?

Applied and removed properly within its rated life, cast vinyl comes off cleanly and the paint underneath is generally in better condition than the exposed panels around it. Problems come from cheap calendered vinyl left on too long, or from heat-gun removal done carelessly.

Full wrap or just lettering?

Be honest about the job. A van doing local deliveries with the phone number readable at a junction gets most of the value from clean door lettering at a fraction of the cost. A full wrap is worth it where the vehicle is genuinely a moving advertisement parked at sites all day.

How long does vehicle vinyl last in Dubai?

Sun here is unusually hard on print. Expect two to three years of good appearance from laminated cast vinyl, less on horizontal surfaces like the bonnet and roof which take the worst of it. Unlaminated vinyl fades markedly within a year.

Can you do a whole fleet consistently?

Yes, and that is the main reason to use a template rather than treating each vehicle as a fresh job. Same layout, same positions, same sizes, with only the plate or unit number changing. Vehicle five then still matches vehicle one.
