Packaging is printed flat and used in three dimensions
This is the one category where the artwork and the finished product are genuinely different objects. A box is printed as a single flat sheet and then folded, so the panel carrying your logo can end up on the side, under a flap, or facing the floor once it is sitting on a counter.
We lay every design onto the dieline and check what is actually visible when it is folded. That usually moves the logo, and it is the step that separates packaging that works from packaging that merely printed correctly.
The board matters more than the print
The failure mode of under-specified packaging is not the ink — it is the substrate. Grease strikes through a box that was not coated for it, the board goes translucent and soft, and by the time the customer opens it the brand has been undone by the product inside.
The same is true of a shopping bag whose opening softens by the end of the day. Specifying the right board, and the top fold where it earns its cost, is the part of this job worth paying attention to.
Order it earlier than you think
Packaging is cut, folded and glued, so it does not come off the press finished the way a flyer does. Press time runs from six working days for food boxes and bags to ten for presentation boxes — the longest lead time of anything Falcon prints. If packaging has to arrive with a product launch or a new branch opening, it is the item that sets the date.

What is the minimum order for printed packaging in Dubai?
One thousand units for food boxes and presentation boxes, and five hundred for kraft shopping bags. Packaging is cut on a die that is made once for your shape, so a run of two hundred carries exactly the same setup as a run of two thousand and rarely makes sense.
Do I need to supply a dieline?
No. Each shape we stock has its own dieline and we supply it. Send your logo and brand colours and we lay the artwork onto it, including how the design crosses the folds — which is the part that catches people out when they design a flat panel first.
Is the board safe for hot and oily food?
For the food packaging range, yes — these are food-grade boards with a coating rated for direct contact, which is what stops grease striking through and softening the box. Ordinary art paper with a varnish on it is not the same thing and should not be accepted as a substitute.
Can you match packaging to the rest of my printing?
Yes, and it is worth doing together. Board and paper take ink differently, so a box and a business card printed separately will not look like the same brand colour unless somebody checks. If we are producing both we proof them side by side.
