Terms

These terms cover the use of this website and the basis on whichFalcon Advertising quotes for and carries out printing work. They are general terms; anything specific to your job will be set out in the written quotation we send you, and the quotation takes precedence.

Quotations

A quotation states the specification it covers — size, quantity, material, finishing and delivery. It is valid for the period stated on it. Changing the specification changes the price, which is why the specification is written down rather than assumed.

Artwork and proofs

Where we prepare artwork, we will send you a digital proof. Nothing is printed until you have approved that proof in writing.

Please check proofs carefully, including spelling, phone numbers, licence details and Arabic text. Corrections at proof stage are free. Once you have approved a proof and the job has been printed, a reprint is a new job and is chargeable, including where the error was in the details you supplied to us.

Artwork you supply

If you supply print-ready files, we will check them for obvious problems and tell you what we find. You confirm that you own or are licensed to use any logo, image, font or text you send us, and that printing it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

Colour

Printed colour will not match a screen exactly, and there is a normal tolerance between print runs and between different materials. Where exact colour matching matters, tell us before we quote so we can plan for it.

Delivery times

Delivery dates are given in good faith and start from proof approval, not from enquiry. We will tell you promptly if something is going to be late. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Work carried out by partners

Falcon designs and prints. Where a job requires signage fabrication, permits or installation, that part is carried out by a separately licensed partner. We will tell you when this applies, before you order.

Payment

Payment terms are stated on the quotation. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, goods remain our property until they are paid for in full.

Liability

Our liability for a job is limited to the value of that job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.
