A letterhead is a frame, not a poster
The purpose of a letterhead is to identify the document and then get out of the way. The most common mistake is a header so deep that a short letter becomes a two-page letter.
We lay letterheads out against a realistic block of text rather than an empty sheet, which usually produces a tighter header than the first draft.
Printing invoices onto letterhead
A lot of Dubai companies print their accounting-software invoices onto pre-printed letterhead rather than paying for a separate invoice design. It works well, but only if the printed header and footer stay outside the area the software puts text into.
If that is what you intend to do, send us a sample invoice printed on plain paper. We will build the letterhead around it so nothing collides on the page.
Keeping the set consistent
Your letterhead, business card, invoice book and stamp should all say the same thing. It sounds trivial until an auditor or a customer notices that the phone number on your invoice is not the one on your letter. If we are producing more than one item for you, we check them against each other before anything prints.

How much space should the header take?
Less than most people expect. A header deeper than roughly 45mm starts pushing a one-page letter onto a second page, and a footer deeper than about 25mm does the same from below. We lay letterheads out against a realistic block of text rather than an empty sheet.
Can the letterhead be used as an invoice?
Yes, and many Dubai businesses do exactly this, printing invoices from their accounting software onto pre-printed letterhead. If that is your plan, tell us at the start, because the printed header and footer have to clear the area your software prints into.
Do you print matching envelopes?
Yes. DL envelopes for folded A4 letters and C4 for flat A4 documents, printed to match the letterhead so the set looks like one thing.
