What a flyer has to do in about two seconds
A flyer is read while walking, or on the way to a bin. That is not cynicism, it is the design brief. The offer has to be legible at arm’s length, and there has to be an obvious way to act on it.
The flyers that fail almost always fail the same way: too much text, no clear offer, and a phone number in six-point type at the bottom.
Sizes, in practice
- A6 — small, cheap in volume, good for a single offer
- A5 — the workhorse. Enough room for a real message, still easy to hand over.
- DL — tall and narrow. Fits an envelope, a rack, or a pocket.
- A4 — better as a menu, price list or spec sheet than as a street handout
Paper
130gsm is the standard leaflet weight. 170gsm feels noticeably better in the hand and costs a little more. Anything above 250gsm is really a card, which is the right choice for something you want kept rather than glanced at.
Lamination is rarely worth it on a flyer, with one exception: anything that will be handled repeatedly, such as a takeaway menu that lives on a counter.
Distribution
We are licensed to distribute advertising materials, which means the flyers can go out through us rather than through a separate arrangement you have to organise and supervise. Tell us the area and the volume and we will quote both parts together.

Flyers: Common questions
What paper weight should a flyer be?
130gsm is the standard for a leaflet handed out or dropped through a door, and it is what most people picture when they think of a flyer. 170gsm feels more substantial and is worth it where the flyer is doubling as a menu or price list. 250gsm and above is effectively a card and is used for anything meant to be kept.
Do you distribute flyers as well as print them?
Yes. Distribution of advertising materials is on our trade licence, so we can handle hand distribution and door drops across Dubai rather than leaving you to organise it separately.
What size flyer works best?
A5 is the most common because it is large enough to carry a real message and small enough to be taken without hesitation. DL suits anything that needs to fit an envelope or a rack. A4 is generally better as a menu or price list than as a handout.
Can the flyer be in Arabic and English?
Yes, and there are two approaches. Either both languages on one flyer, usually one language per side, or two separate print runs. Which is right depends on who is handing them out and to whom.
