Printing for Restaurants and Cafés in Dubai

Falcon Advertising prints menus, price lists, table talkers, loyalty cards, packaging stickers and window graphics for restaurants and cafés in Dubai. Menus can be laminated or printed on wipeable synthetic stock, and set in Arabic and English.

A menu displayed on a table in a café interior

A menu is handled by dozens of people a day, with wet hands, near food. That makes it a materials decision as much as a design one.

  • Laminated card — the standard for dine-in. Wipes clean, survives months.
  • Synthetic stock — more expensive, effectively waterproof, with no lamination edge to peel
  • Uncoated paper — cheap and good-looking, for takeaway menus and anything you expect to replace often
  • Posters and boards — for counter service, where the menu is on the wall

Price changes are the real cost

Most restaurants underestimate how often they will reprint. If prices move, a menu laid out with the prices in a separate, well-structured column can be updated in minutes rather than rebuilt from scratch. We set menus up that way by default, so your second print run costs less than your first.

Bilingual menus

Arabic alongside English widens your audience and is expected in many locations. It also needs proper typesetting — an Arabic menu run through a translation tool and pasted in as an image is immediately obvious to anyone who reads Arabic.

Questions

Restaurants & cafés: Common questions

What material should a menu be printed on?

It depends on how it is handled. A menu that stays on the table needs lamination or a synthetic stock, because paper menus in a busy restaurant look tired within a fortnight. A takeaway menu that goes out with orders can be lighter and cheaper, since it is not expected to come back.

How often should menus be reprinted?

Most Dubai restaurants change prices or dishes more often than they expect to. If you are reprinting more than twice a year, it is worth laying the menu out so the price column can be updated without rebuilding it, which makes every reprint after the first faster and cheaper.

Do you print window and glass graphics?

Yes. Frosted vinyl, printed vinyl, cut lettering and full window graphics. For a shopfront we will ask about the glass, the sunlight it takes and whether you need to see out, because those decide the material.
